James has played different instruments in different styles with different groups over the years, ranging from folk to electronic to death metal - he frequently hops over to a new style purely because he likes the sound of it.

 

Usually playing the violin or the bass, he loves collaborating with EotA because of the totally unrestrictive style - which is very refreshing to him.
